mybreev and Partners Win the Comenius Award 2024 with UEFA EURO 2024 Project

We are delighted to announce that mybreev, in partnership with an esteemed team from the German Football Association (DFB), has been awarded the prestigious Comenius Award 2024 for our innovative educational initiative linked to the UEFA EURO 2024. This project, which will play a key role in ensuring the safety of one of the globe's most celebrated sporting events, exemplifies the marriage of digital innovation and rigorous safety training.

A Beacon of Safety and Excellence

The UEFA EURO 2024 is set to be an extraordinary event hosted by Germany, attracting millions of spectators and showcasing the best of European football. The responsibility of ensuring a safe and secure environment for players, staff, and fans during such a massive event is monumental. Spearheaded by Hendrik Große Lefert, Timo Seibert, and Ulrich Hofmann, our project has been designed to meticulously train the leadership of the security services across the tournament's stadiums.

Innovative Training at Its Core

The core of our project relies on the QuaSOD platform, which has already successfully trained more than 78,000 service personnel across Germany’s top football leagues since its inception in 2016. This platform has been specifically adapted for UEFA EURO 2024, expanding its capabilities to train around 500-700 key executives who are expected to manage security at the event.

Philipp Lahm, the legendary captain of the German national team and now an ambassador for UEFA EURO 2024, lent his voice and experience to the platform, offering words of motivation that echo his leadership on the pitch. This unique approach prepared leaders not only on operational tactics, but also on how to inspire and lead in high-pressure situations.

Comenius Award: A Testament to Educational Innovation

The Comenius Award recognizes outstanding achievements in educational technology, and winning this award underscores the excellence and impact of our training module. By integrating expert insight, real-world scenarios, and cutting-edge digital learning technology, the project sets a new standard in how we prepare for and manage the security of large-scale events.

Looking Ahead

The success of this project not only sets a benchmark for future sporting events, but also opens the door to applying our platform to other types of large gatherings. The modular nature of our content and the adaptability of our digital platform means that we can tailor our training for a variety of scenarios, improving security protocols across different venues and countries.

As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what digital training can do to make sporting events safer and more enjoyable for everyone involved. We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners and everyone who contributed to this project, and we look forward to continuing our work to redefine educational standards in the world of sports and beyond.

This accomplishment is not only a win for our team, but a promising leap forward for safety and security at major sporting events. We are proud to be at the forefront of this critical aspect of sports management, ensuring that fun and safety go hand in hand at every match and every venue. We thank the Comenius Award Committee for this esteemed recognition. We are inspired to continue our work and push the boundaries of what is possible in sports safety education.
