Content & Relevance

Incoterms® rules are standardized delivery terms that define within a sales contract who bears which costs and when risk passes from the seller to the buyer. As they are recognized worldwide, they prevent misunderstandings between contracting parties from different countries and reduce the risk of costly legal disputes.
The course covers all eleven rules of Incoterms® 2020, grouped into E, F, C and D, ranging from EXW with minimal seller responsibility to DDP with maximum seller responsibility. Practical case studies show how costs, risk and customs duties differ depending on the rule chosen.

Target group & Process

The course is designed for employees in procurement, sales, export and logistics who buy or sell goods internationally. No prior knowledge is required, as all technical terms are explained clearly in the course.
